The Cranston Reds offer educational and enjoyable hockey programs for Mite, Squirt, Peewee, Bantam, Midget and Junior levels. Our programs are coached by professional coaches that expose weaknesses and give our players the confidence and ability to get better and excel.

Beginning in 2010, the Cranston Veteran's Memorial Ice Rink (CVM) became home to the Cranston Reds. Cranston East High School, Cranston West High School hockey programs, numerous youth hockey leagues, adult hockey leagues for men and women, public skating sessions, learn-to-skate programs and the Cranston Figure Skating Association also call the CVM home.

In April of 2010 I was invited to try out for the newly formed Cranston Reds Junior B hockey team. As a high school junior, I jumped at the opportunity to play for a more competitive organization. After back-to-back tryouts on April 24 and 25, coaches Dave (Cappy) Capuano told me I have talent and a lot of potential. We spoke about my future and they offered me a contract. Accepting a contract from the Cranston Reds was the best thing I could have done for my future in the game.
